Granduo FM Transmitter - EN

Congratulations on the purchase of Granduo FM Transmitter! We ask that you carefully read the following instruction manual and follow it when installing the transmitter. 

1. Installation

• Insert the transmitter into the cigarette lighter socket of the car.
• The screen will switch on and display the battery voltage for 3 seconds.
• Turn on your car radio and select an empty channel frequency.
• Adjust the transmitter to the same frequency (hold the central button for 2 seconds or use the knobs to set the frequency).
• After the adjustment is complete it will automatically display the set frequency.
• After the connection is successfully established you may transmit music.

2. Transmitting

To switch between modes simply push and hold the central button to choose either wireless, USB flash drive or Micro SD card.

BLUETOOTH

• When establishing your first connection it is important to pair your mobile device.
• Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device and search for the transmitter (S-09A).
• After connecting the system will send a voice reminder saying "Connected".
• Transmitter will automatically connect with your mobile device next time when in range.
• To connect 2 mobile devices simply follow the top steps again with a different mobile device.
• If you cannot find the transmitter while searching Bluetooth devices, disconnect the fist mobile device and search again.

BLUETOOTH HANDS-FREE CALLING

• Answer the call: Press the central button once.
• Hang up: Press the central button once.
• Reject call: Press and hold the central button for 2 seconds.
• Re-dial last number: Press the central button twice.

MUSIC

• After establishing your connection, press the central button to turn on the default music player on your mobile device.
• Press the rewind or forward button to switch between songs.
• Press the central button to play or pause music.
• If you insert a Micro SD card or USB flash drive the transmitter will automatically read the last inserted device.

STATUS

• Blue/green quickly alternating lights: Bluetooth is not connected.
• Blue/green slowly alternating lights: Bluetooth is connected.
• Blue light alternating slowly: Playing music via Bluetooth.
• Green light flashing slowly: Playing music via USB flash drive / Micro SD card.
• Blue or green light: Music is paused.

3. Troubleshooting

Please refer below for troubleshooting:

Problem 1.
I cannot connect my device with the transmitter.

Possible causes 1.
A device is already connected to the transmitter. Please disconnect and try again
OR Bluetooth is not turned on on your mobile device
OR Transmitter is not set on Bluetooth transmitting.

Problem 2.
There is background noise while playing music.

Possible causes 2.
The FM frequency is set to close to a local radio station. Change the frequency and try again.

Problem 3.
Voltage value of my car is constantly flashing on the display.

Possible causes 3.
Your car battery has exceeded the standard voltage range. Please contact our support for further information.

5. Safety notices

• Product is compliant with the RoHS, WEE and CE directives.
• The symbol on the side (crossed out trash bin) warns the product must not be disposed alongside other household waste, but should be disposed of at a collection center. The list of collection centers is provided to you by your public waste disposal service.
• During charging the product may emit heat. While it may get warm it should never get too hot.
• Keep the device away from sources of heat and direct sunlight exposure. If the devices starts to overheat, transfer it to a colder place and do not use it until it cools down.
• Do not leave the device in places where the temperature may exceed 45°C.
• When exposed to excessive temperatures, the lifetime of the device may be reduced.
• If the product gets wet, stop charging immediately and dry the product thoroughly.
• Beware of excessive drops, dents, holes and deformations.
• Do not open or repair the damaged product, as there is a risk of electric shock.
• If uncertain how to proceed, please turn off the device and contact our support.

Additional safety informating for safe use and extending product life:

• We advise you to use a ventilation slot holder in the hottest months, which will position the device away from the direct sun.
• Do not leave the device while charging at places exposed to direct sunlight.
